Céline Aho-Nienne
Born in 1984, Céline Aho-Nienne is a writer-director whose work explores the history and culture of Réunion Island. She is the recipient of the Lankréol Daniel Honoré Prize and has participated in residencies at Le Grec, the Réunion Departmental Library, and Talents La Kour.
Her works, whether the animated short Boutik lo Pèp (development) or the documentaries Solèy i lèv a lèst and Grands-Bois, mon lémé, celebrate her native language, Creole, and all aim to tell the story of her homeland.
