Salomé Moindjie- -Gallet
Born in 2001 in Caen, Salomé Moindjie- -Gallet, of Comorian and Norman heritage, graduated from the Beaux-Arts of Caen and Paris, where she studied in Clément Cogitore’s studio and was honored for her work. Her cinematic practice moves between documentary and fiction, focusing on gestures, silences, and intimate narratives, which she considers political and decolonial spaces. She works as assistant to Ange Leccia, editor and sound engineer. She is currently filming in Grande Comore, a territory still largely absent from cinematic maps, aiming to shift attention toward margins and invisible presences.
