Synopsis
In Tsoundzou 2, a neighborhood of the Mahoran capital, young people live in groups on the streets. Theft, extortion, small hustles: they try to survive through resourcefulness. With no real alternatives, they have sometimes had to navigate between poverty and delinquency.

Romain Fleury
Romain Fleury is a documentary writer and director. Passionate about history, he recently directed a documentary on the Armenian genocide, a documentary series on Egyptology, and a film about a corporate utopia that lasted 70 years — that of Bata shoes. He is also the author and director of more than one hundred and thirty documentaries dedicated to nature and social issues.
Séline Soula
Séline Soula, originally from the island of Mayotte, was born in Sada on the western side of the island. She graduated from the Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies in Paris (CEDS). She began her journalism career at RFO Mayotte, first in radio in 1991, then in television with news reports and news presentation. In 1997, she joined the Paris newsroom and hosted the magazine program “Vues d’ici.”
