Synopsis

Marine Hervé
Marine Hervé is a director based in Réunion since 2014. She started out as a camera technician on sets on the island for six years before embarking on her own stories.
In 2021, she directed À Travers, a short film supported by Cinékour and co-produced by GaoShan Pictures, in which she explored a central theme in her work: bodily rights, particularly those of women. She followed this up in 2022 with Lémuria, a documentary exploring the myth of Lemuria, produced by LaCoupure.
For the past five years, she has been directing the series OPJ 974, broadcast on France 3, challenging her to lead teams in a large-scale production. Today, with Marimar, et les cœurs brisés, she is directing her first solo series. It is an ambitious series filmed entirely in Réunion with local talent.
