FIFOI is committed to supporting film education and encouraging the active participation of young people through workshops, screenings, a dedicated Festival Award, and meetings with filmmakers and film critics.

Beyond a simple spectator role, FIFOI and its steering committee are deeply committed to ensuring that high school students are fully included and valued throughout the festival and all year round.
