Synopsis
Accompanied by a team of Belgian researchers, Kushlani Dissanayake, a young Sri Lankan scientist and mother, sets off on an expedition to the waters around Sri Lanka to gather data essential for coral reef preservation. By collecting DNA samples, she attempts to discover the distribution patterns of coral populations and their larvae. Through her scientific commitment and personal journey, we delve into the marine depths of Sri Lanka and discover her thoughts on motherhood, humanity and her “survival of the kindest” theory.
