Sudipta Barai

 

Sudipta Barai is a final year Direction student at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI). His short film Aparthiba won the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) 2025. An alumnus of Creative Minds of Tomorrow, IFFI 2024, he has been practicing filmmaking for the last five years. Driven by a desire to tell stories that are deeply relevant to their time, he intends to keep making films for as long as the ideas keep coming.
